LITTLE BOY SWEPT AWAY IN FLOOD IS MISSING, PLEASE ‘SHARE’ NOW

A little boy in Shreveport, Louisiana is missing, and the public fears the worst. The seven year old boy was swept away into a drainage ditch during heavy rains today. It has been more than 24 hours since he was lost.

The searching had yielded no result as of 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. The search had moved to Hearne and Midway avenues, where rescue personnel were pumping air into an underground tunnel in an attempt to make it possible for searchers to enter the tunnel. But still, there has been no luck.

“I think he’s in there. It’s dark, and he’s scared to come out,” Mary Edmonds, the boy’s mother said. “Maybe if I can get in there, and he can hear my voice, he’ll come back out.” Mary Edmonds speaks of her frustration with the efforts of the city departments.

“I feel like they gave up. I didn’t see anyone in the ditch,” she said. “If they are trained, why didn’t they do their job all the way?”

Please pray for this little boy now.

“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.”
